About the author

Mansi Tyagi grew up in conservative family in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh with ambitions and aspirations to touch the sky. She completed her B.Com from SD Degree College, Muzaffarnagar and MBA from UP Tech University, Lucknow in the year 2004. She aspired to be an author from her childhood and that aspiration has now been completed with her debut book – “One Step”. Married into another conservative family, Mansi spent most of her life caring for her family and being immersed in responsibilities which made her always push her passion of writing for later. Life with her husband and kids kept her busy and life took a sudden turn, when she had to change from being a housewife to a widow taking care of her 2 daughters. A single mother who tried her hands at working in corporate to schools and now has built a reputation in one of the leading schools in Bangalore as a primary school teacher. Listening to music, trying her hand at culinary skills, extensive reading, and writing are some of her hobbies. She often spends her free time travelling, writing short stories and poems too. Mansi aspires to make her children live the life she always dreamt of and wants to fulfil their desires. She is a caring and dedicated mother who still spends her time in responsibilities and is trying to find time for her writing in between all this.
