About this ebook

Book 1 in the Freshman Roommates Series from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Mara Jacobs.

I didn’t believe in love at first sight, until I first saw Lucas Kade.

I was giving swimming lessons to children when I first saw him. Turns out one of the kids was Lucas’s little brother. So, I’d be seeing a lot more of Lucas. And that was just fine with me.

I had a lot going on—a freshman at an elite college, first time away from home, and, oh yeah, roommates with a girl I’d been sent to spy on. I wasn’t exactly looking for anything exclusive. Something casual, though, would be great.

But there was nothing casual about my feelings for Lucas.

He was a townie, hiding a secret, and I knew better than to get involved. I was always the sensible one, the peacekeeper.

Before I knew it…I was In Too Deep.

This New Adult contemporary romance contains 3-4 graphic love scenes. If it was a movie, it would be rated R.

The books of the Freshman Roommates Series:

1) In Too Deep  (Lily and Lucas)

2) In Too Fast (Jane and Stick)

3) In Too Hard (Syd and Montrose)

I was blown away by how well the author wrote the details. The writing struck a perfect balance, allowing readers to imagine the story vividly. The characters in the book felt so real that I found myself missing them after finishing it, especially Lily and the charming male lead Lucas. In addition to the tantalizingly passionate scenes, I was entranced by Lily's mother, and how Lily's resilience allowed her to conquer the hurdles her mother placed in her path.

I'm not usually into teenage stories since I prefer more adult material the few times I read recreationally (in spite of being in college myself), but I truly loved this book & I'm looking forward to the sequel.. I hope there are more Lily & Lucas updates in it even thought they're not the main couple anymore. Would definitely recommend this story!

Great “New Adult” novel by Mara Jacobs. I love Mara’s contemporary series (Worth the Weight, Worth the Drive, Worth the Fall and so on) so I was wondering what her New Adult would be like. Well, it’s yummy - yes, yummy - and it is really done well. Lily is a freshman at a small private college located between Baltimore and Washington DC. She comes from wealth and falls for a “townie” of course - because let’s face it, we all know how hot a badass townie can be. And really, if that doesn’t have you buying this book yet - trust me on this, In Too Deep is a hot, fun, read. I laughed out loud, definitely got emotional. Didn’t see the end coming, and really liked the chemistry Lily also has with her roommates. Here’s hoping this is the first in a series.
