**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review** I absolutely LOVE this series. I was captivated by the first book and books two and three have been equally as great. While you can read them as stand alones, I highly recommend reading the series as there are storylines that weave their way through all of the books. When Dean Campbell's sister, Mandy, goes missing, he's the only person that doesn't believe she left of her own volition. The police and their father believe she is flexing her muscles and showing her independence, but there is something that just doesn't sit right with Dean, so he decides to hire HEARTS. Alexa Rodriguez understands the position that Dean is in. Her sister went missing many years ago and there was never a resolution to her case. While her partners at HEARTS feel this case might be too close for comfort, Alexa is determined to help Dean. She's the best when it comes to this type of case. As Dean and Alexa spend time together, the lines between client and investigator begin to blur and denying their growing feelings is futile. Not only do they connect because of their sisters, but they connect in a way that they haven't with any other person. Will their relationship end up causing issues when it comes to finding Mandy? Or will things all work out in the end? I truly adore this group of women and I give Marci Bolden a ton of credit for creating such a fascinating, yet socially real, world that these women live in. Can't wait for the next book!

4.25⭐ Stolen Hearts, book three in Marci Bolden's Women of HEARTS series was a marvellous read. That packed an emotional punch. Thanks to superb characters, and a storyline that was well written and paced and that brilliantly delves into the horrifying world of drug abuse, exploitation, and trafficking, and I was easily hooked throughout. And with plenty of appearances from the rest of the HEARTS team, a proposal, and a nice romance that didn't overshadow the rest of the story. This truly was a great read, and one I would happily recommend to others. **I was kindly provided with an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

I have loved this series so far. For some reason, the romance in this one didn't strike me with the same chord as the other two. There also wasn't the thriller aspect of this one. That being said, Bolden has taken on a very tough and relevant top of sex trafficking and drug addiction. The despair and helplessness of family members who's loved one has disappeared is in the forefront in this story--it doesn't focus on the victim, but the family searching desperately for a way to rescue the victim who may not want to be rescued. A great job by Ms. Bolden on displaying a different perspective. I loved catching up with the ladies of HEART, the all woman private investigative firm. I'm hoping there is a little more wrapping up of this story in the coming books. I was given a complimentary copy of this book via NetGalley. All thoughts are my own.

About the author

As a teen, Marci Bolden skipped over young adult books and jumped right into reading romance novels. She never left. Marci lives in the Midwest with her husband, kiddos, and numerous rescue pets. If she had an ounce of willpower, Marci would embrace healthy living, but until cupcakes and wine are no longer available at the local market, she will appease her guilt by reading self-help books and promising to join a gym “soon.”
