Mari and Butch may be best friends, but they are also opposites. He was in the military and likes order and feels that being on time is important. She is artsy, goes by feelings about things, and has no concept of time. For the sake of their friendship, they haven’t acted on their attraction until now. But they both have issues to deal with and secrets to reveal before they can move forward with their relationship. The kitten Daffy Butch rescued was cute and precocious. Mari’s matchmaking Grannie was funny, posting pictures with her face thingy. There were plenty of funny, sweet, and romantic moments in this sweet best friends romance.

Mari's Man in Uniform is a sweet friends to lovers, opposites attract, clean romance. Ms. Kincaid has created a close knit, loving family of these sisters and their septuagenarian grandmother, Grannie, who has just discovered Facebook! Butch has been Mari's best friend forever. Butch is a planner and Mari is a free spirit. Once I started reading, I could not stop. This book was just a joy to read.

This was a really good sweet friends to lovers romance. Mari and Butch were good likable characters and I really enjoyed their book it had me laughing out loud at times, this is the second book in the series and while I think they are better if they are read in order, it can be read as a standalone
