About this ebook

A paint-peeling parody of "Fire and Fury".
Despite an unpresidented lack of access to Chump’s house, investigative journalist Martha Skewermann recounts the unbelievable story behind the ethical and egoless, yet tragically star-crossed, civic leader Mayor Ronnie Chump, one of the greatest unelected public officials since Dinsdale Piranha.

Following the butt-clenching events of the 2016 mayoral election, seasoned scribbler Martha Skewermann takes the reader on a thrilling journey through the politics of Washintown. She thus relives the tale of how the inimitable Chump - the world’s kindest and most inclusive politician - had the unexpected misfortune of accidentally torching his new white house while preoccupied with the welfare of others and caring for the underprivileged in his community.

No mayor has ever united his people in grief so spectacularly. With a threadbare plot, a brilliantly formatted Contents page and a cast of the only the best people, Martha Skewermann’s Dire and Puny captures the pungent, smocky essence of the Chump administration. It will subject your sphincters to the ultimate stress-test.

About the author

Martha Skewermann is a seasoned investigative journalist who has worked in relative obscurity until now.

Though a long-standing staff member at the Washintown Sentinel, she has never been a regular columnist for any magazines, nor has she appeared regularly in print before, largely due to the difficulties she experienced growing up as a fictional author.

She has received absolutely no awards for anything in her life, and seeks only the reward of truthfully chronicling these history-making events in the life of our city.

Dire and Puny - Outside Chump’s Blackened House is Martha’s opus primum as an independent fictional author, cementing Martha’s reputation as the world’s leading exponent of allegorical journalism.

We hope that Martha continues to pound her virtual keyboard for many years to come.

Martha lives in a constant state of curiosity and bewilderment.

She resides in rural Washintown East with her 2 cats and komodo dragon, Bruce.

Sadly her husband Bob passed away 2 years ago (not totally Bruce’s fault).

She has four children who love her to pieces but who wish she would take a long overseas vacation, one way.
