Starts slow and formulaic, but picks up at the later books. Great, sorta philosophical ending. Thanos as you've never seen him before.

I found it hard to like this story, mainly because of the unbelievability of having Akhenaten so super-powerful. I did like the idea of Thanos the narrator. And the ending was certainly unexpected.
