This was my first book by this author and inspired me to immediately purchase a few more upon finishing this one. I love the grit of Beth and Sophie, the theme of finding strength through faith especially when you feel you don't deserve it, and how well the characters are fleshed out. I honestly could have done without some of Mandy's chapters, but I understand the purpose. It slowed down the story's pace a little. Other than that I really enjoyed this book.

Very interesting to read the stories from a woman's point of view. It was interesting to see the way the two pulled each other together.
