Darcy Andries grew up in rural Minnesota and always wanted to be a writer. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a major in English and a minor in education and speech. After college, she taught English at a Tennessee high school. While in college, Darcy was diagnosed with Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder. She wanted to help students struggling with the disorder, so she went back to college to get her master’s degree in special education. After teaching special education for five years, Darcy began writing again. When she is not writing, she enjoys spending time with her pets and making jewelry. She currently lives in Tennessee.
