Honestly a great book, very well written with a great story that follows Halo 5, Matt Forbeck did incredible on New Blood and that same love is brought here. The only improvement I see is having the voice actors from the game reading the book, even then though the narrator Scott Brick did fantastic as well, some narrators will put me to sleep but Scott kept me eager for the next chapter all the way through. You don't even really need much knowledge of Alpha Nine to get into this book, everything you'd really need to know is very well explained here as well

The novel ventures directly after the events of Halo 5 and delves into several plot points that expand on the state of the galaxy following the events of the game. The novel captures each of the members of Alpha Nine perfectly, and the plot allows for a great, exciting feeling while reading.
