About this eBook

A searing tale of combat and espionage at the edge of the world from the author who “writes about war as few men can” (Daily Mail).

Magnusson had expected to go to war—though not as a spy, and certainly not in a windjammer. But it is 1939 and the Navy desperately needs information about German raiders and blockade runners operating in northern waters.

One of the key places to uncover that information is the port of Narvik in Norway—and the man to do it is Magnusson.

Soon he and the rest of the ship’s crew find themselves playing a key role in the rescue of British prisoners from the Altmark, a German oil tanker, and are subsequently plunged into the very heart of the Nazi invasion of Norway.

Set against the majestic background of the Norwegian fjords, North Strike is a powerful story from one of war fiction’s greatest storytellers, perfect for fans of Alan Evans, Alexander Fullerton, and Douglas Reeman.
