This book provides a succinct summary of many categories of chemical agents, their history, use, effects, and care. Its grouping of agents simplifies the user’s understanding of various chemicals. The book would be improved if experts in chemical’s detection were available to provide some specific input, rather than detection device name as the detection technology is important –arguably more important now than the specific devices that were available during the date of publication. Several sections of this book will remain the best source for decades. I have used this source as part of my college and professional lectures in CBRNE.
