Francine R. Kaufman, MD, is Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics and Communications at the University of Southern California Center for Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism at Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. She is also Chief Medical Officer and Vice President, Global Medical, Clinical & Health Affairs for Medtronic Diabetes. In 2003, she was the president of the American Diabetes Association.
