I thoroughly enjoyed this one and would have enjoyed it more if I could have gotten it downloaded to my kindle but had to read it on my laptop! Eve is house sitting while her sister goes on her honeymoon but she is in for a surprise when she finds the house is not empty. Her brother-in-law has invited someone to stay there. Rhys is fresh from shooting his latest movie and needs somewhere to relax that is peaceful and what better place than Solace Island, that is until he shows up and finds the house already occupied. This leads to some great confrontations and you just know where there is that much fire there will be...yea! Eve does not want to start anything and Rhys is patient, although it seems there is danger around. This book had it all. Great dialogue, romance, suspense, and a well written story. I need to go back and get the first book in this series now! **Received this ARC for review**

About the author

Meg Tilly may be best known for her acclaimed Golden Globe-winning performance in the movie Agnes of God. Other screen credits include The Big Chill, Valmont, and, more recently, Bomb Girls and the Netflix movie War Machine, starring Brad Pitt. After publishing six standout young adult and literary women's fiction novels, the award-winning author/actress decided to write the kind of books she loves to read: romance novels. Tilly has three grown children and resides with her husband in the Pacific Northwest. She is currently at work writing the third Solace Island novel.
