After learning his father isn't well, Harlan decides the best way to find a wife is to place an ad. Only one applicant fits, but he's still not sure. Kendall needs to get away from her family, so the opportunity to go under the radar as a mail-order bride fits, but she didn't anticipate finding a new kind of family, one without strings. Harlan and Kendall are taking things slow, but the sparks are there. As they consider the future, the past is catching up. Highly recommend this classic romance.

Harlen and Kendall seem to be an unlikely pairing! And really, they know nothing about the other, yet, they end up married. His reasoning is straightforward, she has some secrets to keep. Regardless, the more they spend time together, the more the attraction between them grows. Love how they instinctively know what the other hides from the world, even if they don’t have the reasoning for it. These two definitely deserve the happiness they get, and Zeke and Belinda are simply wonderful <3

This story is a perfect example of what true love looks like. No matter what happens, you know who has your back. It’s a wonderful story about starting a new life and learning to trust and love. It’s the perfect start of The Careys of Cowboy Point series.
