Just out of mourning, dowager duchess Alexandra indulges in a night of pleasure. She never expects to see Theo again. Then, she learns that the present duke is pursuing Theo as a potential husband for her daughter. Will displeasing a powerful duke destroy Alex and Theo both? I loved the engaging characters and innovative plot in this steamy Victorian romance. The author skillfully interweaves passion and humor for an immersive reading experience. Alexandra and Theo’s one night stand goes wrong yet right in “His Study in Scandal” by Megan Frampton!! Alexandra and Theo want each other, physically for sure! If there is a semi-private place then there is semi- to full action happening. I love the passionate tension yet sweetness of the bathtub scene! If you enjoy books with age gap, class difference, found family, good-for-you-girl moments, marriage of convenience, and road trips to name a few, then I highly recommend this book!!
