About this ebook

A crime scene photo gone viral. A fanboy turned stalker. How far will one FBI agent go to protect the ones she loves?

FBI Special Agent Libby Irish thrives off the constant pressure of proving herself in a male-dominated workplace. After she busts a notorious weapons ring, she thinks she’ll finally get the respect she deserves. When a photo of her curvy figure in front of the guns goes viral, the media frenzy that follows only makes her the laughing stock of her division. Between unwanted fan mail, a feral cat attack, and the flashing cameras, she almost doesn't notice that someone has been rearranging small items in her house.

Her first suspicions fall on her drop-dead-gorgeous neighbor who regrettably seems to be missing a few screws. But when tragedy strikes next door and her neighbor offers to help her track down the stalker, she discovers a whole new side to him she never expected. As Libby's stalker grows bolder, the pair must work together to catch him before his game of cat and mouse takes a deadly turn.

How is the third standalone book in a high-octane series of psychological suspense thrillers. If you like strong female leads, shocking twists, and a dash of romance, then you’ll love Megan Mitcham’s tale of passion and madness.

How (Stalker #3) by Megan Mitcham was a thrilling 5 star read. We start with Libby being part of a huge weapons bust. When she returns to the offices she is surprised to see pictures of her hanging up all over in the break room. Pictures continue to show up at different times and places in the office. At home she has her neighbors cat “Killer” for company. The first few times she meets her neighbor he says nothing to her but he is hot as heck. When things take a scary twist she gets to know her neighbor better and they start to have a very hot connection. He turns into the protector when Libby tells him that someone has been coming into her home while she’s sleeping. Can Libby and Jake find out who the stalker is before someone is killed? Can these two have a HEA together? Overall I really enjoyed this read. I loved both characters and the steamy moments we got with them. The secondary characters were great as well. I had some LOL moments when it came to the cats in the story. I was pulled in by Megan's writing and didn’t want to stop until I was done. I love the guessing game of who is the stalker up until the surprise towards the end. Even though this is the third book in the series you can read this book as a stand alone.

First, I have to say, that this is the third book in the Bureau Series but don't let that deter you. This is a stand-alone story that is absolutely fabulous. That being said, I LOVED this book!! I was hooked from the start and didn't want to put it down. If you admire strong women, you will love the character, Libby, who is a FBI agent. She lead a tactical FBI team to bust a major weapon ring...afterwards her life went sideways (and upsidedown!) Her 'quiet' neighbor, Jake, steps in to help her (I don't like to give the plot away so I will stop here. Just know they 'share' a cat named Killer-that was an awesome name Ms. Mitcham!) Their dialogue is wonderful, when Jake starts to talk to her ;) and their banter make you laugh out loud at times. There are suprising twists and turns about the characters, as well as the plot. The only thing that disappointed me is that the story ended...It was a terrific book and I can't wait to read the next one from Megan Mitcham!

How is a suspenseful crime drama that is difficult to put down once you start reading. The feisty Libby Irish doesn't suffer fools lightly but when her photo taken at a takedown is splashed across the media and then everywhere else, her hackles rise and even more so when she is put on administrative leave and made to look as if she is responsible for the fallout. Before long Libby realises that she has a stalker and it isn't the neighbour's cat that keeps bringing her undesirable gifts. As the incidents ramp up, Libby suspects that those who are closest to her are at risk, and suspicion starts to fall on either one of her FBI colleagues or her very strange but desirable neighbour. However, she has to set that thought aside when her neighbour steps in to give her assistance when she most needs it. The plot is heart-pounding suspenseful and the romance develops later in the story as one experiences Libby's escalating fear and tension. Even though a fairly long book, I was unable to to put it down. As a heroine, Libby is no shrinking violet but one cannot help but love her. Her neighbour is an interesting hero, very typical of the strong silent type, leaving one intrigued and wanting to know more about him. For those who enjoy a crime drama, this book is a good choice. I received a copy of this novel as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
