Can this series get any better? Yes! Yes, it can! I love that I can simply slip back into Ena’s world like I never left. That’s the beauty of O’Russell’s writing style. When I say that I devour her books, I mean it! You’re so drawn into the story you can’t put it down. Can we talk about these covers?! Gorgeous and stunning! Don’t miss out on this series! And if you love Ena, you absolutely must pick up her series Ena of Ilbrea to experience the whole saga!

This is the third book in the Guilds of Ilbrea series. The plot thickens and the characters are pushed almost to breaking. Don’t expect any resolution to their stories, this book continues to build the tension against the Guilds - or more accurately, the Sorcerers. Overall, I enjoyed this book. There are some mature scenes. There is plenty of action and the story moves along quickly. I received a free ARC for an honest review.

Megan started writing when she discovered playing Cordelia in King Lear leaves you way too much time waiting backstage. She began her career as an author during an ill-fated trip to Oz. She hasn't stopped writing (even when living on a tour bus) since.
