Ty and Piper’s love story in A Cowboy’s Song by Megan Ryder, book three in her Redemption Ranch series, reminds us that our fears can rule us, free us, or ruin us; making us afraid to take risks. After losing his family in a car accident, Ty Evans retreated into himself; taking a long time before he came out. Music and the ranch truly saved him; always being grateful for his foster family being there for him. Now that his foster brothers had found their places on the ranch, he struggled to find his bearings; wondering if he could us his music to help with saving ranch. Piper Raines belongs to a legendary country music family but her own career is struggling. On her recent tour and album, her music was not well-received; exhausting her, stressing her out, while bad press is following her like a black cloud. Traveling to Montana for her best friend’s wedding gives her a chance to escape, relax, and recover. Ty and Piper connect through music as well as Ty’s dog, Dundee love for her; as well as a magnetic attraction and off the charts chemistry, Before losing his family, music was the balm Ty needed for life and he wrote a variety of pieces. Ty decided to write a song for his foster brother, West, and Tara’s wedding. Working with Piper frees up his creative muse, writing an amazing song. The only problem, a video of Piper and Ty singing the song goes viral, creating a few problems. They are invited to sing in Nashville, Piper’s home, providing a stepping song for both of their singing careers but applying pressure and stress to their new relationship. Ty and Piper needed to find a compromise; one where opening themselves up is worth the reward of a happy life together. Ms. Ryder wrote a wonderful and sexy story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sexual chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Ty and Piper a chance to have a forever love filled with music. I highly recommend A Cowboy’s Song to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This is the third book in the Redemption Ranch series and although it is a standalone I think you will get more enjoyment from reading them in sequence as they all have the same lovely characters, Ty, West and Chase were all fostered by the caring Duncan and brought up on the ranch as brothers along with his daughter Tara, Duncan has since died and the brothers and Tara took over the running of the ranch, Chase, an ex bull rider has married Hailey who manages the ranch and West is to marry Tara. Piper Rains, Tara's best friend, is to stay at the ranch until after the wedding, Piper is a well known country singer who lives in the shadow of her very famous parents and brother. After a rocky start Ty and Piper become close and even sing together at the local club. Piper isn't happy with what she is doing but she has been conditioned and pushed since childhood into touring with the family and making albums. Realising that Ty is really good at singing with his guitar Piper tries to persuade him to go back to Nashville with her and try his luck. Things go pear shaped for both of them. Ty and Piper are very much in love but can their love survive the pressure of fame . the suspicions of Pipers parents and living away from the open spaces of Montana. This is a lovely gentle romance with strong characters. a really enjoyable book I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. I have so adored this series and this book is just a great addition to it. Three boys come to Redemption Ranch as foster kids. There they learn to become brothers. This is the third foster son, Ty Evens. He loves music and plays at "The Rock" a local bar on the weekends. His oldest brother, West, is getting married to the daughter of the former rancher, Tara. Tara has requested that Ty sing at their reception. Ty is struggling to write a song for them. He lost his family when he was 12. There was a winter major storm and he lost his family in an accident. Thus he is blocked from letting the words flow. Piper Raines is a country music star. She comes to the ranch to be a bridesmaid at the wedding. She is coming off of a tour and is exhausted. As Piper helps Ty with the song, feelings start to develop between these two characters. I really felt their connection and their struggles. The author did a marvelous job in creating two characters that really touched me. Looking into the characters' mind and seeing their POV, really melded the story. I could really seeing the action like a movie playing out. There were some really funny scenes that just had me laughing out loud. There were some very poignant ones as well. The story was a beautiful one and really was well written. This is a story that to me falls between sexy and spicy. There were several scenes with some detail BUT not excessive. Some people though may take offense. I can highly recommend this story to anyone over the age of 18. You can read this as a stand-alone but I strongly recommend to start at the beginning of the series. Also this is the story that completes the foster boys of Redemption Ranch. I just hope that there are more stories coming that involve some of the secondary characters (Emma and Cam)!!!
