About this ebook

All-star catcher Dylan Prosser always has his head in the game. Accustomed to keeping opponents from stealing bases, Dylan is completely focused on getting the team to the playoffs no matter what the cost. He definitely doesn’t expect anyone to steal his heart and turn his life upside down–least of all, a stray dog and a beautiful girl.

After the ultimate abandonment by her family, Savannah Monroe channels her savior-complex tendencies into helping animals because they can't hurt her like people can. Life at the animal rescue shelter has always provided the security and personal reward that she needs to be happy while protecting her heart.

But as she works with Sadie, Savannah soon realizes that his dog isn’t the only one who needs saving…

The Game Changer is book three in Knights series but definitely can be read as a standalone. Dylan is a Major League catcher for the Georgia Knights. He's trying his best to ensure that he gets his contract renewed at the end of the season so he doesn't need any distractions. When an abandoned dog finds her way to Dylan's house, he takes her to the local shelter because he just doesn't have the time for a pet. It's here that he meets Savannah, dog rescue owner. Savannah is passionate about dogs and is in the process of expanding her rescue business. When Savannah convinces Dylan to keep the dog, he enlists her help in taking of her. These two have off the charts chemistry but can they let go the trust issues they have to pursue something great with each other? From the very beginning of this story, I was hooked and couldn't put it down. There was a little heat, a little angst, and parts that had me laughing out loud. The characters are well developed and had amazing chemistry. This story had the perfect mix of sports and dog rescue. I love that this story raised awareness about shelters and fostering!! I loved all of the side characters that were introduced in this book. I'm definitely looking forward to Cody's story!!!

The Game Changer (Knights of Passion series Book 3) by Megan Ryder This is Savannah Monroe and all-star catcher Dylan Prosser's story. Savannah and Dylan are brought together by a dog that had been abandoned and abused. Dylan doesn't want a dog or a relationship. He wants to put all his focus on his baseball career. Savannah isn't ready for another relationship and wants to concentrate on expanding her dog rescue business. Well, things don't always go according to our plans especially when animals are involved. Savannah and Dylan's characters were so much fun. I loved how they interacted with each other. We can't forget Sadie. She is a sweet and cute dog! The chemistry between Dylan and Savannah is so sweet and intense! Now, Sadie has done her part. Will Dylan and Savannah do their part and realize how perfect they are for each other? This is my favorite book of the Knights of Passion series. I loved it! FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Megan Ryder took her best shot and scored one for the home team. The Game Changer took hold of my heart and has yet to let go. The character that left the greatest impact was Savannah. The woman with a huge heart but a battered soul spoke to me. Instead of focusing on her own hurts, she set her sights on helping others (of the four legged variety). Helping animals gave her a sense of peace and purpose that she had long done without. Will an adorable stray help her find the love she's craved for so long? I fell so in love with the main characters. The fact that the story had a background centered on sports proved completely irrelevant.
