Con was like a guy you would like if you are attracted to patriarchy, macho-masculine, and misogyny. I kinda like Van tho, she's a strong woman who knows what she likes but she's just that, no defining character or something. Con on the other hand is not the guy I would wish to read in a romance book. The manly acts and the tattoos didn't even did it for me, even the smut scenes. I'm sorry. I don't like realistic men in my romance fiction books, I want unrealistic men who respects women even in their POVs. But it did entertained me, and is interesting enough to keep me reading until the end. Although I don't remember much of the things that happened in the story because I was repulsed by Con's POV. Why must he always describe Van and other women in a sexualized and objectified manner? Being sexually attracted to women and looking at women's body as an object of men's erection and libido are not the same, at least for me.
