About this ebook

New York Times bestselling author Meghan March continues the story of untold truths and one man’s redemption in the Dirty Mafia Duet.

I never expected to be anyone’s white knight. That’s not a role I’ve ever played.

But when the Casso crime family shifts into uncharted territory, they’re looking for a new hero, and they’re looking for me—Cannon Freeman, the black sheep.

But my time in disgrace is at an end.

It’s my turn to rise up and save the people who matter most to me.

Even if my family has never given a damn about me, I will not let them fall.

More than anything, I will not let her fall.

White Knight is the second book in the Dirty Mafia Duet and should be read after Black Sheep.

***5 ‘Don’t Promise Me Heaven, Then Put Me Through Hell’ Stars*** GAH! So. Damn. Good! It was so good that my cheeks hurt from all the grinning I was doing, though there were a few teary eyed sniffles going on as well, but overall it was a fun, quick read that made me all kinds of happy when everything was said and done. Cannon and Drew. I will admit that I absolutely adored them together as they finally found themselves on somewhat solid ground, but if you were to ask who I like more? Honestly, Cannon totally stole the show in this one. Not to say that Drew didn’t have her moments, because she did, but Cannon was simply everything and I loved watching him take charge and be the man he was always meant to be. If you’ve read any of my reviews, you know that I LOVE well written secondary characters, and when a book/duet/trilogy etc, is interconnected with others that I love getting glimpses of them and seeing what they may be up to and this one far surpassed my expectations and is definitely what made this book a true gem for me when everything was said and done. This was a great read. It was engaging and I loved all the twists and turns and how all the issues that Cannon and Drew faced were resolved. And after that little tease, I’m definitely looking forward to getting my hands on The Fall of Legend. Note: And as this duet can being a stand-alone. It can be read as a stand-alone, but as I said, this one is connected to previous books/series/duets etc and some of the people from them are at least mentioned and I do believe that if you do go back and read at least The Dirty Billionaire Trilogy understand the emotional undercurrents a bit better, but that is simply my opinion. ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

Jaw dropping was what came to mind when I finished this book. Meghan March is the queen of twists and turns and let me just say in the White Knight there were some doozies!! This book is the conclusion to the Dirty Mafia Duet and after that cliffhanger in Black Sheep, I was ecstatic to start this one. We begin right where we left off in book 1 and it was non-stop suspense, drama and whole lot of steam. Cannon continued to wow me with how awesome he was. He had to make some serious decisions on what was important to him and what was right for all those he loved. The way he took control showed how dominant he was and it was awesome!! Drew was just as amazing. She too had to make some decisions, but she was strong and a fighter, she was perfect for Cannon. We definitely see how much they love each other and how solid they are with one another. It was fantastic to see. What I also loved were the appearances of so many characters from the other series. Some of those scenes were heart breaking, some had me smiling and some had me want to knock some heads together. In the end it was all wonderful. This duet is a standalone, but if you have not read Meghan March’s other series, you are definitely going to want to start reading those for sure. There is a helpful little paragraph at the end of the book from Meghan March on the name of the series for each couple that appears in this book. All in all, White Knight was a fabulous book and fantastic conclusion to this duet. There was mention of a new alpha that I am so curious about. I am definitely looking forward to what is coming next.

Well, reader friends, I can say without reservation that Meghan March knows how to keep us invested. WHITE KNIGHT starts off with a bang, jumping right back into the thick of the action that was coming from every direction at the end of BLACK SHEEP. Man, this is mafia romance at its best, with twists, turns, and revelations enough to keep me guessing right up until the very end. At the heart of it, WHITE KNIGHT is a love story, on more than one level. Romantic love, familial love, the bonds of friendship, they're all here, and I fell more in love with Cannon, Drew, and all the rest of the far-flung members of their clan. And, at the end of it, Meghan's done her usual wonderful job of bringing all the pieces together to give a story that I'll remember for a long while to come. As this is a duet, it is an absolute must to read BLACK SHEEP first, because you will be lost if you try to jump right in to this book. And, the truth is, you don't want to miss one juicy detail, one action-packed minute, of the entire story, believe me. These Cassos are one complex bunch, and the surprises keep coming, one right after the other. As if all of this wasn't enough, we get the first look at Gabriel Legend, too, so, y'all, don't be dawdling, make this duet a part of your must-be-read piles. You'll be glad that you did. <3
