I never get tired of my trips to Harper's Crossing and this one was no exception! Former Marine Andrew Charles Elliott IV, otherwise known as Ace, has recently moved to Harper's Crossing looking for a new start. After a broken engagement and many, many years in the service, he's looking for a new lease on life and when he lays eyes on his new neighbor, he thinks he might have found it in her even though they've never even met. Nurse Stephanie Holland has always looked out for everyone else. She's been raising her siblings since she was a child herself and she continues to make sure that those she cares about most have everything they need - often at the expense of her own needs. When Stephanie finally meets her new hunky neighbor, she decides that for once maybe she should take something she wants, even if it's just for one night. With Ace leaving for a job, he wants to wait until he comes back to take Stephanie on a proper date even though the sparks are flying. For once in her life, Stephanie isn't going to let her opportunity slip away and she goes to Ace asking for one night. But will one night be enough? And, with all of the baggage Stephanie comes with, will Ace embrace that or will it send him running? Melanie Shawn always has a way of writing a captivating, engaging story with interesting characters and a lot of wit, charm and love. I always cheer when I see a new offering from this duo because I know it's always going to be a great ride!

If you want to read an outstanding example of love at first sight then you must read All He Needs by Melanie Shawn. This is book 10 of The Crossroads Series, which is located in Harper’s Crossing, and a standalone story,. Stephanie Holland was the responsible one. She excelled at taking care of others at work as a nurse. She also was an amazing big sister to her twin siblings after her mom checked out of parenting. Andrew Charles Elliot, aka Ace, a former marine and is given a fresh start on life after a broken engagement, which didn’t break him up. After Ace sees Stephanie, he next door neighbor, he knew all he really needed was her. Once Ace moves in next door, Stephanie can’t think of anyone else but him despite thinking he is trouble. After years of putting the needs of everyone else before her, is Stephanie ready to give in to the idea of someone else taking care of her? My favorite part of the book is Ace reflecting on relationship advice his Grandma Lulu gave him. “If you want a good relationship you gotta have the four Ls: love. lust, laughter, and loyalty. And if you’re lucky enough to find that, then you gotta have the four Cs to build on that foundation: communication, compromise, compatibility, and conflict.” I enjoyed All He Needs and was delighted with the way Melanie Shawn allowed Stephanie and Ace to discover each other as well as learn to trust one another. The characters were well written, authentic and complex. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend this book to other readers. I am looking forward to reading the next installment of the Crossroad Series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

This was such a fun, sexy, sweet read with a bit of mystery thrown in to it. Ace and Stephanie are seriously the perfect couple. Their personalities compliment each other so well, and Ace is the epitome of sexy with a huge side of protectiveness. Stephanie has been kinda stepped on all her life, and I love that it didn't affect her attitude towards life too much. The anxiety I felt towards the end of the book was crazy (and I couldn't figure out who I wanted to smack the most). The authors gave us a look in to what some parents/guardians deal with when it comes to disabilities, and I feel they nailed it. This book is definitely a must read!!
