Wishing Well, Texas is always one of my favorite places to visit and this time around did not disappoint. Extremely fun, captivating, emotional, sexy, sweet and romantic journey for this amazing couple getting a much deserved and rare second chance to make thing right. Colton McCord is just a dream come true, sweet, sexy, strong and he has a charming fun side. Bella Connor is the only one he has ever loved and he let her go with out telling her why. She is back in town just as he is filming his last reality tv show and sparks are flying all over the town. Loved every heart pounding twist and turn. Looking forward to the next visit.

WOW!! Words escape me in trying to describe how much I loved reading Claiming Colton by the amazing Melanie Shawn, the fifth book in their Wishing Well Texas series. Colton McCord is in Wishing Well for the filming of his reality show, Courting Colton. Isabella, “Bella” Connor returns to Wishing Well to figure out what to do with her Grandpa Duke’s ranch that was left to her. Her life in Seattle imploded with her husband of eight year asking for a divorce. So Bella leaves her twelve year old daughter, Sadie, with her former in-laws while she tackles what to do not only with the ranch, but her life. The one thing she doesn’t want is to run into Colton McCord, her former boyfriend. Through her amazing and vivid writing Melanie Shawn did an outstanding job tackling this second chance story. Colton has loved no one since he set eyes on Bella when she entered kindergarten. She owns her heart and it was so difficult to let her go when she was forced to move to Seattle to live with an aunt. Colton has always done what others expect of him. Bella has always taken care of others, not worrying about what she needed. Then there are Colton’s parents who not only returned home for their daughter’s wedding, they tricked Colton into signing papers that were not really what they said they were. Throughout the story Bella becomes stronger and stronger, able to take care of herself and go after what she wants. A real turning point occurs when Bella’s daughter, Sadie, arrives and she realizes that Colton actually never knew he was a father, but was lied to by his parents. Reading the letters Sadie discovery of Grandpa Duke’s letters brought tears to my eyes. Grandpa Duke’s realization that Colton and Bella had a special kind of love, an everlasting love gave me warm feelings. It’s a shame that Colton’s parents never saw that. I genuinely enjoyed reading Claiming Colton and was pleased with the way Melanie Shawn found a way for Colton and Bella to find their true love and happy ever after. I enjoyed the way the authors wrote scenes to show the true gentleman Colton truly is. They also stressed the importance of family showing the closeness between Colton and his sister Cara and Cara’s welcoming of Bella and Sadie. Although this book is part of a series, it can also be read as a stand-alone. I highly recommend this book and am looking forward to reading the next story in the Wishing Well series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

**Advanced copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review** I am always anxious to visit our friends in Wishing Well, Texas and Melanie Shawn has once again hit it out of the park. I was very intrigued at the end of Taming Travis to see what the story for Colton would be and I was definitely not disappointed. I was sucked into this book from the first chapter. Colton McCord has been on more reality shows in the recent past than he even wants to remember and he has one more to go in order to help out his friend Mia. While he's been going on the reality shows because his sister Cara wanted him to, his heart has never been in it. His heart still lies with his first love; the woman he sent away when they were still teenagers believing that it was the best thing for her. But even all these years later, Bella Conner still has his heart. To say Bella has had a rough life since her teenage years would be an understatement. She lost both of her parents in her teens, along with the aunt who stepped in to take care of her, she's been a single mother and now she's about to be a divorcee. Now forced to put a new life plan in place for she and her daughter Sadie, she heads back to Wishing Well to deal with the property that was left to her by her grandfather and also to try to figure out how to move forward with her life. When Bella and Colton see one another again for the first time, it's clear that neither one of them has lost their love for one another, but there are things from the past that Bella isn't sure she can get over. She wants to figure out what is best for she and Sadie and then get out of town without allowing Colton back in, however Colton has a much different plan in mind. Will the reality star be able to get through to the only woman he's ever loved? Will Bella be able to get past the things that happened in the past? Or will something that neither one of them ever expected be the thing that either brings them together or tears them apart? This book had a bit of everything. There was emotion, there was humor, there was heat and there was fun. Once I started this book I didn't want to put it down. Melanie Shawn has created such a special world with Wishing Well and all of the town's inhabitants. I can't wait for Bryson's book next!
