    About the author

    Melinda Corey’s articles and essays have appeared in the New York Times Book Review, Poets & Writers, Kirkus Reviews, and Turnstiles, among other periodicals. With her husband, George Ochowa, she has written several popular reference books, including “The Encyclopedia of the Victorian World”, “The Dictionary of Film Quotations”, and four titles in the New York Public Library “Book of Answers”. She holds an M.F.A. in nonfiction from Columbia University.
