Men At Arms is the second book in the City Watch series, but you can read the Discworld novels in any order.

Like all discworld novels this one is fun to read! It is not neccessary to have read Guards Guards before in order to understand the plot but if you want to experience the series (i. e. more stories featuring Vimes and the City Watch as main characters)in a more complete context, it helps to read them in a certain order. Either way, if you like the discworld and detective stories, you will have a blast with this one!
