Many people go to the gym, but are still out of shape. Also, by neglecting to improve their mind in their workouts, they remain mentally weak. As a result, most people are not happy with their bodies and have a difficult time dealing with adversity. The one thing that I learned in my 30 years as a trainer is that most people wish they could be better at handle life’s obstacles. The problem is, they just don’t know how to get it. 

 

My book will teach people how to get in the best shape of their life while gaining mental strength. Once you learn how to strengthen your perseverance skills, you will achieve more out of life. True happiness is knowing you have the ability to overcome any obstacle that you face in your life.

 

My book will be in high demand because I use high intensity principals in my workout regimen. The workouts are intense and very effective.  People are gravitating towards extreme intensity interval training because the results are amazing. It is my opinion that extreme intensity interval training is the most effective system in helping people lose weight and gain muscle. 

 

By combining mental toughness training with intense physical workouts, I know my book will have a strong appeal to both men and women who are struggling with getting the body of their dreams and with their inner strength. To me, knowing you can get over any adversity is the greatest strength of all.  This is what mental toughness training has done for me and I know will do for those who read my book.

About the author

Jackson is a fitness trainer and a former high school teacher who has worked in the fitness industry for more than 30 years. He has trained clients in the mecca of bodybuilding at Gold’s Gym in Venice and been coaching CrossFit for over ten years. He has written for T-Nation, bodybuilding.com, Elitefitness, Oxygen Magazine and Mark's Daily Apple. He has a MA in psychology and plans to enroll in a Ph.D program in sports psychology. Jackson is currently a master’s competitor in powerlifting.
