This was a really awesome read about Cain and Lily. They both were part of the underworld and met at a speed-dating event where Lily worked. There connection was instantaneous but then we find out there is a hit on one of them. They must work together to find out who it's from and how to beat it. Great and entertaining story!. The author has taken us to the Underworld to spend time with demons, witches, vampires and wizards. The story pulls us into the lives of Cain and Lily after they meet at a speed dating event. Loved this story that is the eighth book in this series. I totally been enjoyed reading this story. This story was engaging and well written and a great addition to this series. Our romantic couple is Cain from the bible who is cursed and Lily who works at DeLux Cafe. Lily accidently sits at a designated speed dating table when she sits down to take a break from serving the room. Cain meets Lily when he sits at the table. What occurs is a delightful story that I received via Booksprout. ARC
