Holly has her pro boxing career find a sudden end when she becomes desperate for money for her daughter. The scam costs Holly her pro status, and nearly her daughter Alternative income is hard to come by, dangerous and is about to get messy It takes some creative action on the part of Holly and a certain detective to keep Holly out of handcuffs. Knockout is the first book in the "A Holly Hands Cozy Mystery" series and is a great start to this new series. The characters are well depicted and likable. The storyline is well written and flows nicely from start to finish with murder, mystery, action, and suspense. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next book in this series. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.

gaping plot holes. bullet in head became bashed by blunt instrument. drama of kid's medical needs spoiled by total wrong treatment ... just to keep the drama cranked up.
