I read this in 97'& I learned the word save."There was no one in the store save for a boy buying a candy bar". Not bad for a 50 year old who read it once 23 years ago. Also I didn't know he had a regular character in alot of book's. It's 2020& I'm going to catch up on all his books.

I read Blood Work long before it became a movie starring Clint Eastwood. A nice change from the more intense Harry Bosch novels. Terry McCaleb is an intriguing character.

Good read and excellent storytelling. However, i found it to be predictable and knew who the bad guy was very early on. Still, one of my favorite authors.
