About the author
Michael "Sam" Maguire is a Londoner by birth and education, and is a writer of novels and screenplays. Horses and greyhounds have been his passion since boyhood and have been the setting for many of his crime novels. He writes both adult and juvenile fiction and Swiftly is his eighth published work. His adult novels have featured in the Sunday Times outstanding titles list and the film rights to two of his juvenile books were bought by Walt Disney.
