About this ebook

Common sense can help benefit anyone during a life's journey. Human behavior is very interesting. At a young age we are told "not to take candy from strangers", yet as adults, we do it. The politicians handing out entitlements have hidden agendas, and there are consequences. Just as the lure of something interesting (candy) can be dangerous to a child, so can the lure of unjust entitlements to adults.

Wealth or poverty have nothing to do with one's integrity or character! Will the law of Obamacare bring the nation to its knees? Is the tail wagging the dog? Politics has become part of our lives, whether you realize it or not!

Acceptance of reality along with common sense will prevent much heartache!

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and hear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government." - Attributed, to Thomas Jefferson

About the author

Michael is a young and prolific writer. As stated previously, he is just a regular guy who was born in Bristol, Connecticut.

He, like all of us, has some life experience that was learned the hard way. A regret of his goes back to when he was younger. He thought work took precedence and did not understand the importance of certain life situations, such as being a pall bearer at a person’s funeral. Later, he came to appreciate the reality and importance of life events and the need for balance. In his first book, he spoke of being a “workaholic” at a young age and creating balance in his life later.

Also mentioned in his first book is his accomplished career in the financial services industry, as well as having launched several successful new ventures. He continues to challenge himself and learn on his life journey.

Michael calls it as he sees it which is a benefit of being American in our free society. He realizes he isn’t always right but attempts to remove the nonsense and analyze the facts to get to the bottom of an issue. He considers himself a realist about people and life.

Being an avid traveler, he shared many of his travels in his first book. His more recent trips have included Bogotá, Colombia, and Eastern Europe.
