His anthologies include The Penguin Book of Victorian Women in Crime, Dracula's Guest: A Connoisseur's Collection of Victorian Vampire Stories, and The Dead Witness: A Connoisseur's Collection of Victorian Detective Stories. He lives in western Pennsylvania with his wife and son.
