About the author

As cofounder of NaturallyCurly.com, a website for curly hair she began with her business partner and friend, Michelle Breyer helped create the leading community and resource for people with curly hair. Frustrated by the lack of information on curly hair and the limited products available, the duo launched the site in 1998. Since then, NaturallyCurly.com has grown into TextureMedia, a social media network with more than 3 million unique monthly visitors. TextureMedia includes NaturallyCurly.com, CurlyNikki.com, CurlStylist.com, CurlMart.com.

Breyer, her husband, and her 13-year-old curly daughter live in Austin, TX.
