The Somber Call is the second book in the Ariane Trilogy, and it is an awesomely entertaining and compelling book. The characters are witty, gritty, entertaining, and engaging from book one to this one. This book has so many levels that you will not put it down. There is paranormal action, romance, different kinds of romance, angst, surprises, intense losses, betrayals, suspense, many secrets, and more. I love this series, love this Pack, and love these characters.

I got this series by accident as didn't see the YA tag but decided to read anyway and i am so glad i did. A well written story that has plenty of twists and very emotional in parts. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A strong second entry in the Ariane Trilogy series, it had everything that I enjoyed from the first book and strengthened it. I enjoyed getting back to this world and enjoyed the characters in this world. It had a great romance going on and I enjoyed the paranormal elements.
