This was a deliciously spicy romance that has some awesome twists involved and of course an HEA. But that isn't all it is. In this emotional tale of miscommunication, broken hearts, abuse, love, family, friends and healing this author brings it all together with ease. The kindness and acceptance of a stranger with the offer of friendship shows the deep emotions shared in this story. I love this author's style and the characters she creates.

Poor Parker. I felt bad for him that Astoria wouldn’t let him explain. I understand the initial response but at least give the guy a chance to explain things but maybe she needed the 4 years to grow up. I do feel bad for Finn. He’s seems to be an upstanding guy but not too lucky with love. He needs his own book.

Ms. Dare has the ability to write a story that have you front and center with the characters of her stories as in this one. The emotions are raw and riveting and have you pulling for Parker and Astoria. It engages and keeps you on edge until the last page.
