This is Fergus and Donna's story. Fergus is a member of the MacGregor warlocks and still mourns the death of his wife Elsbeth even after four hundred years. Hr has even used his magic numerous times to try and bring her back after she was killed by a witch hunter. Enter Donna a photographer from Greenvalis who for some unknown reason is compelled to deliver baked goods to the MacGregors even though she knows shes a horrible cook. She has seen visions and heard voices her whole life that make no sense to her but tie her to the MacGregors past as well. When Fergus meets her he is drawn to her but can't commit because of a promise he made to his wife before she died. Can Fergus resolve this so that he and Donna can have a chance at a future or is the past destined to repeat itself? I thoroughly enjoyed this story as the MacGregor family is quite eccentric and prone to pranking and other entertaining activities as well. Check it out. It is quite the entertaining tale!

The McGregor family is a wild fun bunch of warlocks. They're full of fun loving mischief. Fergus McGregor is a faithful man even after his wife died 400 year ago. Donna is a strong woman that was willing to fight to keep her man. This magical tale is packed full of drama and feelings and some steam. A second chance at love. It's a beautiful love story. I loved it. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I have been reading Michelle's books since day one and am so impressed how she still manages to completely draw me in to the storylines. This is yet another excellent series and this book is more of a novella so do wish it had been longer! But regardless of that a brilliant insta-love storyline that is so heartfelt yet has plenty of humour and of course heat! Highly recommend. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
