About this ebook

How much trouble does it take to forget the boy you befriended isn’t who he seems?

More than Wylder can afford.

In the aftermath of the concert that revealed Logan and Luke Cook’s biggest secret, they've gone missing. Missing from Nashville, the Academy, and from Wylder’s life.

But they can’t hide from her or the media forever, and Wylder happens to be related to the one person who knows exactly what they’re going through. Their biggest rival, her brother, Beckett.

Yet, finding Logan might not be the most difficult item on Wylder’s to-do list. She also has to figure out how to keep him firmly in the friend-zone—and that’s one task easier said than done.

One ex-boyfriend/teacher.

One cranky rock star hated by the media.

And a boy who kisses as good as he sings.

These Cook boys are going to be the death of her.

Loved it ! Don’t miss this new series from the Amazing Michelle Macqueen and Ann Maree Craven... The writing flows brilliantly throughout this book, showing the abilities of these two great authors working together. It gives us laugh out moments, sorrow, confusion, great friendship, love, hate plus much more and I felt every emotion run through me perfectly. It will suddenly build you up, then on a downwards spiral Wylder’s fantastic wit will always take the seriousness away, but is this her natural defence mechanism or the feelings she actually wants to make light of as she feels so s**t?....After doing so well the previous year her bad girl attitude returns with a vengeance as she try’s everything to keep away from her previous summer love affair’s Bash i.e. Her new English Lit teacher. The rest unfortunately i can’t revel because revealing anymore about this story line would spoil it for you and this riveting story of love and friendship deserves unwinding itself word by word to you. One thing is for sure I don’t think you will be disappointed. Bring on book.2. asap please, the ending was spectacular and I can’t wait to see what comes next for these character

The story begins with Logan in a TV interview, pretending to be his brother because Luke cannot be found. Marigold Martin was like a shark ready to devour him as she asked him about the rumors that Logan was the voice of the rising star Luke. He responded that no one sang his songs but himself. But she relentlessly pursued her questions, then played a sound clip to let the audience decide. He was going to kill Luke when he got ahold of him! This was all his fault. The class assignment that had Wylder and Logan partnered together to write and perform a song changed everything for her. She found her way back to music again because of him and she gained a new understanding of Logan as their friendship came through. But someone videotaped their performance and it got out into the public arena going viral. And Logan had been trying to deal with it alone because Luke disappeared. Now Sebastian, Luke, and Logan were all missing, although Sebastian did answer her text and said Logan was fine. While Wylder and Diego watched an ice hockey game in the stands, someone recognized her, sat down next to her, and pummeled her with questions. She finally had to turn rude and tell the girl sharply to go away. She thought again about Logan. He pushed her just like she pushed him to be better. They weren’t merely passive friends who just believed in each other and were proud of their accomplishments as they watched from the sidelines. Logan had actually stood up there with Wylder, giving her strength, and reminding her she wasn’t in this alone. They brought out the best in each other. Then she turned back to the girl in the bleachers behind her and apologized, thanking her for the nice things she said about her song. Would her world ever get right again? The story gets better and better as Wylder deals with the craziness that continues. She cares for her friends and wants to help. Will this mess resolve? Will she ever see Logan again?

I liked this book the best from the series. It is best to read the series if you want to see the characters unfold. But you could just read it as a stand alone. I especially liked discovering more of who Wylder, Logan and Luke were. This book you see Wylder discovering more of herself which is fun. I like how the author used the friendship/romance between Wylder and Logan to help them to encourage and discover more of who they are. This book has lots of funny moments, friendship, romance and a bit of a twist. The author has done a good job of keeping you hanging to find what happens next. This book is clean and has no rude words either. Can't wait to see what the author does with the next book.
