Everon & his brother Franklin were believable characters and although I haven't got a clue about flying helicopters nor planes, I didn't feel baffled by the technical jargon at any stage. I found the excellent narrative painted the perfect picture in my mind if ever there were to be a nuclear holocaust in America. It was so descriptive it was quite scary at times but I found the brothers down to earth and very believable and I was rooting for them after the first few chapters. Their quest to find their missing sister and family didn't turn out as I suspected which kept me on my toes! All in all a very enjoyable read!

for those who's first language is not english, the book is hard to understand. the words thats been used are too deep i gave up after 1 chapter, coz aside from my problem with the words I'm having a hard time picturing whats happening coz the scene, keep on jumping from one to another.

This is the most horrific story . The only thing that saves it is the macgiver brothers who save their niece and the answers they arrive in Nevada with.
