WOW!! I picked up this book, intending to read a chapter or two, only to find myself held hostage by the story line until I turned the last page later that day. It has been a while since a story captured me like Dirty Rebound by Mira Lyn Kelly, book 3 in the Slayers Hockey series, did. I was even ready to do some major one-clicking on other stories written by Ms. Kelly. Rux and Cammy’s friends-to-lovers story is an emotional, steamy, and enjoyable tale. Cammy is a single mom of an adorable and awesome little boy and whose older sister is married to Rux’s best male friend. Rux is a happy for now, not a happily ever after type. This alpha hockey player considers Cammy his best friend. The one person he couldn’t live without. Her smile, loaded fridge, and amazing son are the reason he protects her from the jerks out there, not looking for a serious relationship. After Cammy is dropped like a hot potato by some guy after only a couple of dates Rux crosses the line by kissing her; going from best friends to fake boyfriend. Although wanting more and recognizing the off the chart chemistry they share, Rux is afraid to push for more; that might just ruin this special friendship. Or will it? Ms. Kelly wrote an emotional, amazing, steamy sports romance that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with emotions, sizzling chemistry, sarcasm, revealing conversations, and charming characters giving Rux and Cammy a chance at love and a future together. I highly recommend Dirty Rebound to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I absolutely loved this book. Watching Rux and Cammy discover the relationship they THINK is one of friendship has changed and grown over the years to become something much larger, and much more important than either of them could have realized was so much fun. I loved their relationship from the start, so it was wonderful to watch them navigate their way to their happy-ever-after.. These two are so sweet together, but also scorchingly hot. I can’t recommend this book enough. (I should note that while this is a book in a series it can be read as a standalone. Getting to reconnect with characters from earlier books isn’t at all confusing, but is fun!) Note: I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

This delectable read delivers all the feels and swoony-ness you could ask for. I fell really hard for Rux and I adored Cammy. As a couple this two Rocked. The story had me completely focused and eager to keep reading in spite of what else I had to do. So I advise you to plan accordingly!!! LOL All joking aside, this was just such a wonderful read about two people totally made for each other (Regardless of what they thought). Filled with emotion, sweetness, humor, drama and desire, this heart melting romance really scores!
