About this ebook

When Emma wakes up tied to a bed, she believes the mafia has finally caught up to her.

But the truth is so much worse.

She’s been mistaken for her twin sister, her sweet, lovable sister who’s been charged with mass murder and helping a vampire destroy the Seven Planes. If she doesn’t confess all, her kidnapper will pull the water out of her blood and into her lungs. Dragged into a reality where monsters and gods exist and mercy is nowhere to be found, how can she possibly survive long enough to save her sister? Because there’s only one thing she knows for certain anymore: Liz is innocent. And she’ll do everything she can to prove it.

He’ll see her imprisoned for life or dead at his feet.

Tasked with bringing in a forbidden child of the gods, Rogan never expected this job to be easy. But finding out she’s his lifemate, the literal other half of his soul, has just made his mission a hel of a lot harder. For now he has to make a choice:

Use his lifemate as bait.

Or damn the worlds to Niflhel.

Emma is kidnapped while some other guys are trying to take her. She was at her twin sister Elizabeth’s house retrieving something for her when it all happened. Rogan and his team are the one that end up with Emma. But they believe she has done something wrong but it’s her sister who is under the influence of the evil vampire Sabastien that did it. Emma still has to be brought in but Rogan realizes that Emma is his lifemate. Their mission to take down Sebastian and try to get Elizabeth is exciting and dangerous I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Elemental Claim: A Paranormal Romance is the first book in the War of the Myth series and is a great start to this new series. The characters are well developed and interesting. This story has a lot of humour along with mythological beings, danger, suspense, intrigue, and steamy scenes. I really enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to more books in this series. This book was entertaining from beginning to end. The only criticism I have would be the grammatical errors I encountered along the way, but I was able to overlook them fairly easily as the words of the story took me on a breath-taking journey through the eyes of multiple characters, which usually would have been confusing, but amazingly wasn't too difficult to comprehend. Thank you for the great read and I hope to purchase more from the series soon.

About the author

Miranda Grant has cycled three thousand miles up the Rocky Mountains on a tandem bike, launched herself off a cliff to go soar under a giant piece of thin fabric, and has stared down a mamma grizzly and her cub without losing a single limb. She has, however, lost her phone more times than her husband can count.
