About this eBook

A mysterious island.

An abandoned orphanage.

A strange collection of very curious photographs.

It all waits to be discovered in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, an unforgettable novel that mixes fiction and photography in a thrilling reading experience. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.

A spine-tingling fantasy illustrated with haunting vintage photography, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will delight adults, teens, and anyone who relishes an adventure in the shadows.

When i first heard of this book series I said to myself that I had to have it. I did see an interview about the movie cast being more of one race than another and I said to myself it doesn't matter. This series is another version of A Series of Unfortunate Events and that cast of characters is Jewish. I support Random Riggs and Daniel Handler 100 percent.

But I'm rating it anyway because I love this book. The movie adaptation is going to disappoint, I can tell you that now. Just read the book and save yourself from the lies you will be told in the theater.

Tittle page and all other pages with images on it... Nothing shows. Just "image unavailable" bummed out. &&& I'm ready for the Tim Burton adaptation of this book, yea sure it will be a little off from the book,... But please try squeezing in a whole book & all its details in a movie that's about 1 hr and a half. Then & only then y'all have the right to complaint that a movie doesn't resemble the book. I don't expect it to.BUT TIM BURTON never dissapoints . 😲😎✌
