About the author

Butch Sarma is the Director of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business graduate weekend programs (Executive MBA and Decision Analytics Professional Track programs). I manage the P&L, operations, staff, and program logistics. I really enjoy getting to know the students and seeing them achieve their educational goals.

Adjunct for Digital Marketing MKTG-675, Marketing Management MKTG-671, and Non-Profit Marketing MKTG-445 since 2007. Guest speaker on marketing, sales, and product management at many Virginia universities. I am thankful for the ongoing support of business leaders that will speak to my classes on a weeknight or a Saturday morning.

Led experiential learning student projects such as RVAtourism.com, search engine marketing, community engagement, venture ideas, and the Strategic Dilemma capstone project. The cool part of leading these projects is giving the students a goal, defining the rules and available resources, and watching them go.
