About the author

Molly Hatch earned an MFA in ceramics at the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2008. Molly's career in ceramics has led to collaborations with institutions such as the High Museum in Atlanta, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Clark Art Institute. Molly's illustrations and ceramic designs have led to the development of a lifestyle brand licensed by clients such as Anthropologie, Galison and Graphique de France. Her work has been featured in many publications - from the New York Times, Boston Globe to the London Sunday Times and magazines such as House Beautiful and Country Home Living. Her artwork is shown and sold internationally at museums and art fairs through gallery representation. Molly is currently a part-time faulty in the Ceramics Area at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. She makes her work from her home studio in Northampton, MA where she lives with her husband, daughter and beloved Border-Collie Mac.
