 This book from Nana’s Stories follows Juanito. A boy who wonders, why his mother always has to go to work. Throughout the story, Juanito finds out that his mother has to pay for many everyday needs. These everyday needs keeps them happy and safe. Juanito’s mother also explains to him about it. If she doesn’t work, it will be very hard for them. Juanito learns a lot about all the things she does for them. He is also happy to know that all the things she done has kept them safe. Juanito’s mother has to go to work, when she explains the many reasons on why she goes to work. This story will teach children that their parents need to go to work, so they can take care of all the things that are needed in life.

 Guadalupe O Gonzalez is a graduate from California State University Dominguez Hills. Guadalupe Gonzalez has been working with bilingual children for many years. This has inspire Guadalupe to write bilingual children’s books. These books include stories based on real multicultural experiences. In these stories the children and families will see themselves in it.

 

Michael P Gonzalez is a well rounded graphic designer that specializes in illustration. Michael P Gonzalez received his degree from a well known university that has a progressive art program. From this art program, Michael gained a diverse illustration skill set. Michael  P Gonzalez’s wide range of work has gained attention from the likes of USA Network’s Burn Notice. Michael P Gonzalez loves taking challenging projects, since a new skill is always gained from it.
