Samson is an Old English Sheepdog, born outside a very old and drafty castle. Raised by his mom with stories of courageous dogs and noble heroes of old, all Samson wants is to be a heroic knight, the kind that is worthy of living in a mighty castle.
When he is finally old enough to go out on his own, Samson heads into the countryside looking for the kind of adventures worthy of a knight. As he meets all the creatures and animals around his neighborhood, Samson does his best to be friendly, but he fails to do anything heroic enough that will make people remember his name.
