About this eBook

Cowboy and conservationist Carson Granger returns to Three River Ranch, determined to transform his embattled family home into a mustang sanctuary. But his late father, controlling even from the grave, had different ideas, and left an iron-clad will to enforce them.

Aurora McAllister’s empathic ability and her therapy dog work wonders with troubled children. But when Rory’s personal life falls apart, she takes her broken heart and flees. Three River Ranch is the perfect place to rest, heal and start over. Unfortunately, no one told her about the estranged son, or the grim Granger history. The man’s energy is raw and full of pain, but beneath that there’s a kindness that attracts her.

Carson wants Rory gone. Her relentless optimism and her mop of a dog are messing up all his plans. Then he sees her with the wild mustang mare he’s rehabilitating. The woman has skills. Maybe Rory is the key he didn’t realize he was looking for.

But Rory also has secrets and when it comes to women, the Granger men are cursed. His dreams for her future? Even he’s not that cold.

Then Rory makes him an offer he can’t refuse…

Montana Dawn by Roxanne Snopek, book one in her Wild Sky series, is a heartwarming tale filled with passion, drama, as well as lots of births and babies as Rory and Carson find themselves drawn to each other by a magnetic attraction and a need for each other. In need of a fresh start from a bad job and an ex-fiancé, child-therapist Aurora McAllister decides to rent a guesthouse on the beautiful and serene Three River Ranch. She arrives at the ranch with her trusty Labradoodle, tired, heartbroken, yet determined to find a bright side to the situation. She also finds herself not alone. After the death of his estranged father, cowboy and conservationist Carson Granger arrives at Three River Ranch to find the only livable space having been rented to a beautiful, but very pregnant woman and her dog; so not wanted he needed. Carson discovers that details of his father’s will just might place the future of the ranch in jeopardy; not to mention his chance to open a mustang rescue sanctuary. The mustang he recently rescued is almost ready to be released to return to her wild band and he needs the ranch as a place to keep her until then. Carson isn’t used to accepting help from others, especially an optimistic stranger; but he soon realizes there’s a lot more to Rory than meets the eye. Upon learning the major sticking point of the will, marriage and an heir, Rory offers to help Carson with a marriage of convenience. Carson is a very private person, seldom opening up and letting others in. He now needs to decide whether to let her in, save the ranch, and open the mustang sanctuary or lose everything. Rory and Carson are so good together; fitting together like puzzle pieces, helping each other accomplish tasks and chores. They complement each other as well as belong together; although, their best friends might disagree. This story was quite heartwarming. I enjoyed meeting the bickering identical twins and reading about their ongoing feud. If it wasn’t for the twins, Rory and Carson might not have been able to pull off becoming friends, a marriage of convenience, as well as falling in love. Ms Snopek wrote a wonderful, heartwarming, and emotional story that should not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with off the charts sizzling chemistry, intense emotions, and endearing characters giving Rory and Carson a chance at a future together. I highly recommend Montana Dawn to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
