A retired elementary school teacher, Judy Wolfman has had twenty books, nine plays and over 300 magazine articles, short stories and poems published. Most of her work is fiction for children, but some are historical fiction for all ages. In 1989 Judy became a professional storyteller and has told stories in various venues including foreign countries and on cruise ships. Now living at Country Meadows in York, PA Judy tells stories, gives talks on her books and presents workshops on storytelling and writing wherever she’s invited. Six years ago she founded a Reader’s Theatre troupe that performs throughout York County, PA. Her husband of 52 years passed away, leaving her with two adult sons, one adult daughter, and four granddaughters. A theatre lover, Judy volunteers at three local theatres, where she gets to see excellent shows at no cost to her!
