ReShonda Tate Billingsley is the bestselling, NAACP Award-winning author of more than fifty books, including Let the Church Say Amen, which was adapted into a BET original film directed by actress Regina King and produced by TD Jakes and Queen Latifah. An inductee of the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame and a Texas Top Author, she is the co-founder, along with bestselling author Victoria Christopher Murray, of WritersPro and the independent publishing company Brown Girls Books. ReShonda also has a journalism career that spans nearly three decades, previously as a television news reporter/anchor, and currently as an editor at a Houston newspaper and radio news reporter.
