Battle of the Hexes is a really fun stand alone Halloween Cozy Mystery . This is a short story that is a well written story. In the story we meet Adeline and her talking cat familiar Pudding, who I LOVE! All the paranormals in town try to stay away from the AVC (Australian Visa Control) . That doesn't go so well when Jackson of the AVC walks into Adeline's store where she found a dead body. With the help of some friends, she has to solve the murder before the AVC gets on her case. The characters were fun and well written. The mystery was great . A fantastic story that I highly recommend!
