If you can read this book and not get tears in your eyes you are most likely cold as steel on a winter day and maybe you are already dead. Mother Teresa gives Spiritual Insight to the problems of the world and of the poor. In this book she is trying to get the reader to open their hearts and to make the reader a better person. NO don't take me wrong she is Not Preaching, she is mearly making observations in her typical humble way. You do Not have to be Catholic to enjoy her teachings. Her teachings are Universal and timeless. Great book for starting your Spiritual awakening. She transcends all religions and faiths and touches the very heart of humankind.

About the author

Mother Teresa (1910–1997) was a nun among the destitute of the Calcutta slums who became one of the most beloved and highly respected women in the world. Recipient of many humanitarian awards, including the Nobel Peace Prize, she was personally acquainted with popes, presidents, and royalty. She never hesitated, however, to do the most menial tasks, and one of her oft-repeated themes was the need for humility. Mother Teresa was beatified by Pope John Paul II in 2003; beatification is a precursor to sainthood.
